We know twelve oboists who have advanced to the second round of the Prague Spring 2025 competition.

The Round I of the OBOE Competition has concluded, and we now know the names of the 12 contestants who will advance to the Round II. The selected participants (listed in alphabetical order) are:

You can attend the Round II on Saturday, May 10, starting at 9.30 am, this time in the Bohuslav Martinů Hall at the HAMU building.

In this round, the contestants will perform, in collaboration with the Zemlinsky Quartet, the Oboe Quartet in F major by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Additionally, they will present one pieceby either by Klement Slavický, André Jolivet, or Charles Koechlin, as well as Playing the Oboue Plainly to Oneself, a work for solo oboe written especially for the Prague Spring International Music Competition 2025 by Jan Klusák.
