Michal Kaňka teaches at the Prague Conservatory and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Former soloist of several Czech orchestras and member of the Pražák Quartet, he is a board member of the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation and Chairman of the standing committee of the Prague Spring International Music Competition.
