Clarinet – finalists advancing to the ROUND II

ROUND I of the CLARINET category has just come to an end! 

The competition committee has chosen 48 candidates out of which 29 have arrived in Prague. All of them delighted us with excellent performances.  

In ROUND I, we were able to hear Three pieces for solo clarinet composed by Igor Stravinsky and Concert for clarinet and orchestra n.1 f minor op. 73 – 2nd and 3rd movement composed by Carl Maria von Weber. 

The jury agreed that the 12 contestants qualifying for the second round are the following:

Just like in the previous round, you are kindly invited to attend and support the contestants in ROUND II, this time in the Martinu Hall at the Academy of Performing Arts.
