Symbol of Hope

Dear classical music lovers, 

Spring has always been a symbol of hope that, after the long winter months, everything will come to life once more. With this thought in mind, the festival’s founders incorporated the word “spring” into its name in 1946 to reflect the fact that, after many years of war, things must blossom again. Fortunately, the serious circumstances in which we now find ourselves cannot be compared with the situation back then, nevertheless, the Prague Spring wishes to remain a symbol of hope, just as it was all those years ago. 

The 2021 Prague Spring Festival will be a celebration of music that we’re all looking forward to! We can’t wait until Tuesday, 10 November, when we will introduce our festival programme. 

On Wednesday, 11 November at 11 a.m., we will launch ticket sales.
