Six original works, six contemporary voices, one charity auction. We connect the worlds of music and visual arts.

Over the decades of its existence, the Prague Spring music festival has become not only a symbol of Czech cultural identity and a key platform for international dialogue between the Czech and global music scenes, but also a space for much broader cultural and artistic exchange. In recent years, visual art has likewise found its place alongside music.

As part of the Prague Spring Art Salon project, organised in collaboration with KODL Gallery, outstanding Czech visual artists are presented who, much like musicians, can express symbolic forms of the inner world, albeit through entirely different vehicles of expression. This year’s edition will present six unique paintings on the theme of “Spring”, created especially for this project by Pavla Malinová, Karolina Netolická, Michal Cimala, Jan Hísek, Jakub Špaňhel and Vladimír Véla. All proceeds from their sale at KODL Gallery’s spring auction, to be held on 31 May 2026, will be donated in support of the artistic projects of the Prague Spring festival.

Support the Festival Through Art
One festival, two art forms.

Take part in the public auction on 31 May 2026, organised by KODL Gallery, and acquire one of the six original works created for the Prague Spring Art Salon 2026. Not only will you take home a piece of SPRING, you will also contribute to the 2027 edition of the festival.
The artworks will be on display during Prague Spring concerts at Rudolfinum and Municipal House from 12 May – 4 June 2026.

You can also support the project with a one-time donation. For details, contact Anežka Kochová at kochova@festival.cz.

Just as the Prague Spring showcases the best of the music scene, one of the main themes of the Art Salon concept is to bring together the festival with the finest Czech visual artists, who this year are primarily representing contemporary painting. An important criterion is not only the originality and authenticity of their means of expression, but also their ability to captivate audiences with the depth of their intellectual sources.
