Milan Němeček
Director of the Prague Spring
Milan Němeček, Ph.D. is the Director General of the Performing Arts Section at the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, where he has served since 2012. In addition, he lectures at the Prague University of Economics and Business, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Arts Management. He holds a degree in History from J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem and a Ph.D. in Architecture and Design from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.
In September 2025, he was appointed Interim Director of the Prague Spring International Music Festival, a role he will hold until December 31, 2025.
