Monday, November 27, at 6 p.m., St. Lawrence Church hosted an exceptional gathering of two individuals in their field. One of them was Ivan Klánský, pianist, dean of the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, a recent recipient of a state award, and Richard Hindls, statistician, rector emeritus of the University of Economics and current chairman of the Supervisory Board of Prague Spring. Both gentlemen share a love of numbers, mathematics and piano playing. It was an evening of exceptional personalities and unexpected connections. The discussion was moderated by the festival director, Pavel Trojan.
