The Opening Meeting of the Friends of Prague Spring, a club of patrons of the festival, took place this season on Monday 23 October 2023 at 6pm in St Lawrence Church.
The patrons of the festival were introduced to the programme of Prague Spring 2024, the programme of the Patrons’ Club. The evening’s guest was composer and multi-instrumentalist Kryštof Mařatka, whose work SANCTUARIES – In the Depths of Cave Paintings, concerto for violin and orchestra, a concerto for violin and orchestra will be given its world premiere on Monday 27 May 2024 in the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum, performed by Orchestre Radio France, Mikko Franck and violinist Amaury Coeytaux.
